    Cookie

Everyone will be happy to know, Cookie has already been adopted! She now lives with one of my clients (who's dogs all live to almost 20!) She's getting plenty of love and attention in her new home, and has plenty of other dogs to play with. I have to say, this is one of my best placed dogs. I couldn't have found her a better home!

    New Home for Cookie

11 07 08 011  Hello everyone, my name is Cookie. I am 2yrs old, I weigh 10lbs (and will not get any bigger) and have already been spayed. I go to the bathroom outside or on a weewee pad, am good with other dogs & kids, and I love to play ball. My owners couldn't take care of me anymore, so I am looking for a new home! Please call my foster mom Michelle at 954-478-2212 if you would be interested in adopting me!

Why Your Dogs Haircut Costs More Than Yours

    1. Your haircut = $30   Your dogs haircut = $60
    2. Your manicure = $10   Your dogs manicure = Included
    3. Your pedicure = $20   Your dogs pedicure = Included
    4. Bikini Wax = $35   Shaving your dogs privates = Included

Your hairdresser only cuts the hair on your head
Your hairdresser doesn't pull the hair out of your ears
Your hairdresser doesn't have to tie you up
You've never tried to bite your hairdresser
You've never peed or pooped on your hairdressers chair
Your hairdresser doesn't have to squeeze your butt!!!   And just so you know, when we express your dogs anal glands and that stuff gets on our clothes, it stains and we have to smell that all day long until we can change! So the next time you start thinking maybe you're paying to much for your dogs "haircut" maybe you should think again and instead of complaining, give your groomer a big tip for all the hard work that they do!!!

    Doggie Car Safety

    Doggie car safety

So I'm driving down the road headed to my next appointment and I see this lady pull up to the light next to me with this cute little yorkie in her lap, with it's front end nearly hanging out the window. And I think to myself, "now how dumb is that?!" Picture this: Lady is driving along with dog in lap, head out the window - something flies off the truck in front of her and hits her little dog in the face. He's crying and bleeding. She rushes him to the vet - emergency operation - they have to remove an eye and he's lost some teeth. Hey, could have been worse right? Could have been a car that ran a stop - lady slams on her breaks, dog goes flying out the window and is killed instantly. Not a pretty picture! So what is this obsession with driving in your car with your dog in your lap? All my clients tell me, "my dog is my baby!" Well, remember the uproar about Brittney Spears driving in her car with her baby in her lap? Didn't go over to well with the rest of the population did it? So why are all these dog owners riding around with their "babies" in their laps? Come on, everybody know that the safest place for your "baby" is in the back seat with a seat belt on!
